Small and family-owned businesses are the backbone of any healthy community. Studies show that the health and abundance of neighborhood small businesses in a community directly relate to the health of the community as a whole.  We see lower crime, better education statistics, and overall community strength and resilience. Studies also indicate that small businesses help close racial and gender wealth gaps.

High taxes, mandated government overreach, and lawlessness in the community with too many elements of government agencies not working and talking together has been a series of significant challenges for Small businesses in our region. A thriving middle class is key to a healthy nation. A vibrant middle class is the foundation of strength in our country. These are important factors to understand and support so we can provide a healthy future for generations to come.
