True and complete education is key. As Martin Luther King said, “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” He also wisely stated that “The complete education gives one not only the power of concentration, but worthy objectives upon which to concentrate.” I agree with him.
I believe we can do better. Everybody is frustrated with the state of education. Many times, teachers are constrained by regulations that were meant to help them. Students learn in different ways, and sometimes they need a school that caters to their needs. Common sense legislation will support both the teachers and their students as they try to reach their full potential.
